Since 1956, Lakeview Bakery has been situated on the street of the same name in Clifton, NJ. It wasn't until 1999 though when Carlos Sotamba would call the bakery his new home. Securing a 3rd shift position, he would visit the bakery every night and clean up after the crazy buys days spent baking. Although Carlos was an ambitious young man and grateful for his job, his preferred position was to be a baker and work directly with the customers creating whatever they envisioned.

In 2002, that dream came true and Carlos became an official partner of Lakeview Bakery and The Cake Factory. Each and every day, Carlos and his team of 13 create everything from extravagant wedding cakes to butter cookies and breakfast treats.
